How can you change or reset your Facebook password?

  • For changing the password if you are logged in:
    1. You have to click in the top right corner of Facebook page and select settings.
    2. Click on "Security and Login".
    3. Then You can click on "Edit" to "Change Password".
    4. Then you have to enter Current password and New Password.
    5. Then just click on "Save Changes".
  • For changing password if you are logged in but forgot password:
    1. You have to click in the top right corner of Facebook page and select settings.
    2. Click on "Security and Login".
    3. You have to follow the steps under Change your password.
    4. Then you have to click on "Forgot your pasword?"
    5. After that you have to follow the steps to reset it.
    6. You will be required to access your email associated with your account.
  • If you are not logged in and wanted to reset your password then
  • You have to go to "Find your Account Page".
  • You can type your email or mobile number or username associated with your Facebook account.
  • Then you have to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you don't have access on your email or mobile phone number on your account and want to access your FB account

You can try to log in with an alternate email or phone number.

You can go to Facebook.com/login/identify and follow the instructions.
