How To Recover Rediff Mail Password

Rediff mail is one of the best email service provider in India, Rediff mail system is India's favorite email service with millions of satisfied users. Rediff mail trained support staff helps you deal with any questions you may have - before or after - signing up for your Rediff mail account.

In case you have forgot your password you can retrieve it by yourself by following below given steps:-

Recover the password through contact details.

To recover the password through contact details you need to have access of the recovery email or the contact number that you have registered with your rediff mail.

1 Go to Rediff.com

Rediff mail is one of the best services provide by Rediff.com, to login into your Rediff mail account you need to visit Rediff.com page then click on rediff mail symbol given on top right.

2 Click on forgot password

You will be directed on email page now you need to enter your username that you have created at the time of signing up and click on forgot password.

3 Enter your email address

first you need to enter your email address to recover your password then click on next to proceed further.

4 Confirm your details

Now Rediffmail will ask you to confirm your details, you will ask to choose a method to receive the code to verify your details, you can choose the phone number or the recovery email id that you have given at the time of signing up.

5 Enter the mobile number

Now you need to enter the number that you have given at the time of signing up. enter the number and then type the code shown on the image and then click on next.

6 Enter the code

You will receive a code on your phone number or on your email address, enter the code than click on proceed

7 Create your new password

You verification is completer now you need to create a new password, create a strong password but remember that it should not contain your first name or last name or should not match with old password

Recover the password without phone and alternate email ID

If you don't have access of the recovery email address and the contact number that you have registered with your rediff mail acount or you have not registered your contact number and alternate email ID as your recovery email ID then you can follow below given steps:-

1 Send Email to Rediff mail

You need to mail to rediff mail customer care to recover your password, you can check below given example for the mail.

2 Check Your Email

After sending this email you need to check email regularly. You will receive the response from rediff mail soon.

3 Collect your email information.

To recover an account without contact details will be tough as the rediff mail will first need to verify your authenticity with regard to the e-mail account.

In order to do this, rediff mail will require the following details provided by you at the time of registration. This is to help authenticate you as the rightful owner of the e-mail account.

  1. Login Name
  2. First Name
  3. Last Name
  4. Address
  5. City
  6. State
  7. Country
  8. Date of Birth
  9. Zip/Pin code
  10. Contact Number
  11. Gender
  12. Education
  13. Occupation
  14. Approximately when did you create this account? (Month and Year)
  15. When was the last time you successfully logged into this account?
  16. Please share 5 email IDs to which you have sent or received emails.
  17. Do you have any folders in your account? (Yes/No)  If yes, please provide the names of these folders separated by commas. 
  18. Tell us details - sender, subject, date - of at least 4 latest read mails in your account.  If you have less than 4 read emails, provide these details for them all.
  19. Do you subscribe to any newsletters or mailing lists?  If yes, tell us the sender details for the same.

Please provide your current alternate e-mail ID and mobile number along with the following account information as accurately as possible.

Your Rediff mail password will be reset and you will receive an email from Rediff mail regarding this.
