Two step verification is a security feature that helps you to protect your Telegram account. If you have turned on two step verification you will be asked to enter a Pass code that has been created by you at the time of activating two step verification,it's a very highly secure feature to secure your account.
If you forgot your password and you don't have access to your email you might not be able to recover your Telegram account so if you don't want to take the ris you can deactivate two step verification by following below given steps:-
1 Go to your profile page
To deactivate two step verification you have to go to your profile, for that you need to tap on three lines given on top left corner of the home screen of Telegram.
2 Tap On settings
Now you will be directed on your profile in which you will get some option to choose you need to click on settings.
3 Tap on Privacy and Security
Under setting you will get a lot of operations to perform, you need to click on privacy and security as the two step verification is related to security you will find the option under privacy and settings only
4 Tap on two step verification
Under security you will find two step verification where you will find that your two step verification is on you need to click on it
5 Enter your password
Now you need to enter your password that you have created at the time of activating two step verification, remember that you will be given only three chances to enter your password.
6 Tap on turn password off
After entering your password you will be directed to two step verification page where you need to tap on turn password off.
7 Too many attempts message
If you have entered wrong password more than three time you will get a message "Too many attempts, please try again in 59 minutes" in this case you have to wait for 59 minutes to re-enter your password
8 Recover your password
If you have forgot you password you need to click on forgot password link given at below left corner then you will be directed to password recovery page where you need to enter the code that you have received on your recovery email id.
9 Password is deactivated
After entering the code that you have received on your registered recovery email id your two step verification is deactivated
